
An American Idol contestant verbalized he felt "uncomfortable" when Katy Perry kissed him during
his audition — after he told the judges he had never been kissed

Benjamin Glaze, 20, of Oklahoma, tried out for the show last October when he was 19, he told the New York Times
In his tryout, which circulated for the current week, he broke the ice with the judges by revealing to them he had never been kissed. Perry quickly brought him over to her, where he, turning red, gave her a pure kiss on the cheek
Perry griped, so Glaze consented to begin once again. When he inclined in the second time, Perry astonished him with a kiss on the lips. The high schooler fell over in shock

Coating told the Times he was "a tiny bit awkward" by the kiss, and if Perry had requested to kiss
him, he would have said no.
